FAQ

what should I bring to class?

As for clothing, think layers! Crop top and shorts, pants over that, socks. Shoes are not required (excluding Steel Heels) water,  and an open mind.

"What's the best way to improve on my journey?"

The best way to improve in a safe and realistic way is through our Residency that we offer. At Soft Steel Sanctum, our residency  program offers unlimited drop-in classes, a resident only class, The Vigil, dedicated as a self study with teacher aid. As well as discounts on series classes.

"Can I afford it?"

Absolutely. Fortunately at Soft Steel Sanctum, we are driven to make our series and plans as cost effective as possible. We understand how wanting to advance in your movement can be stunted purely by financial reasons. We strive to give the best value. Through our plans, prices per class go as low as $20 per class. We also offer payment plans.

What’s the difference between drop-in classes and series classes?
  • Drop-in Classes: Flexible one-off sessions for those with some pole experience.

  • Series Classes: 4–6 week structured sessions, meeting weekly, designed to build skills progressively and support steady growth.

How do I know which class is right for me?

Each class card shows skill level, format, and duration. Beginners should start with Pillars Foundations; all other classes list recommended experience levels.

"Do you support sexworkers & strippers?"

Absolutely. We aim to be a sanctuary for you. Soft Steel Sanctum is queer & stripper owned.  So you are celebrated in our space. We know how depleting these careers can be. We hope that these classes will remind you that you can still love Pole Dancing when it's not just for others and for you instead.
